Located in Paris\u2019 18th Arrondissement, a visit to the picturesque hilltop neighborhood of Montmartre is one of the best things to do in Paris! There\u2019s a cute romantic charm in this artsy district that you just can\u2019t find anywhere else in Paris – or Europe! It wasn\u2019t always that way, though – around 200 years ago, most Parisians would avoid Montmartre as it was home to many brothels!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Montmartre has long been the bohemian and artistic district of Paris. This unique neighborhood has a lot of history. Beaucoup\u00a0things to do <\/u><\/a>sont<\/span> tr\u00e8s proches les unes des autres, faisant de Montmartre un endroit id\u00e9al \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir \u00e0 pied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UN visite \u00e0 Montmartre<\/a> is so special; it gives you a chance to escape the crowds and makes you feel like you\u2019ve stepped back in time. Experience the exquisitely French cafes of Le Consulat and La Maison Rose, check out the vintage stores, stroll along the quaint cobblestone streets, see the old moulins (windmills), and visit the iconic Sacre Coeur Cathedral.\u00a0You can also visit the Vigne Du Clos vineyard (yes, there\u2019s even a vineyard in Montmartre!) and spend time in Place Dalida – the prettiest square in Paris, where the likes of Renoir, Van Gogh, Monet, and Picasso would often frequent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Head to the Moulin Rouge for an exotic evening to watch the world\u2019s most famous cabaret! The colorful can-can dancers hit the stage every night for a memorable, eye-popping performance!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L'un des plus cool faits sur Paris<\/a> is that the underground network extends across the whole city. The city’s limestone quarry was once abandoned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I highly recommend visiting. It can get kind of moist and cold down there, especially on a rainy day, so make sure that you carry a jacket or a shawl to keep yourself warm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of our mistakes was not booking our tickets online. The queues can be long, and you waste a lot of time just waiting for your ticket. So save yourself some grief and get your ticket in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
