Le Cam40 is a contemporary bistro in the 13th arrondissement, at 40 Boulevard Arago between the Gobelins and Port-Royal. Chef Rui Martins, who trained in the Alain Ducasse world, cooks refined, inventive bistronomic dishes built on fresh, seasonal produce — accomplished cooking at neighbourhood prices.

## What to expect at Le Cam40

The kitchen serves a seasonal, market-led menu of contemporary French dishes, full of flavour and carefully plated, reflecting Martins’s fine-dining background. The setting is relaxed and the welcome warm, making it a pleasant spot for a considered lunch or dinner. It is a quietly impressive find in a residential corner of the Left Bank, well away from the tourist crowds. It is open Tuesday to Saturday.
