Searching for Dairy-Free Croissants in Paris: A Vegan’s Dream

By Paris Top Ten mars 4, 2026 (Updated juin 29, 2026)

mars 4, 2026 par Top 10 parisien

Hey fellow food lovers! So, let’s talk about something close to my heart (and stomach): croissants.

Oh, those flaky, buttery delights of French pastry perfection! If you’re like me and have a serious soft spot for a good almond croissant, you know how it feels to face the ultimate culinary challenge when you have dietary restrictions.

As someone allergic to dairy (thanks, EoE!), indulging in the rich taste of a classic croissant is basically just a dream. But guess what? I’m heading to Paris soon, and I’m determined to find a way to savor that heavenly almond goodness without risking my health.

Now, I know what you’re thinking—“Good luck finding a dairy-free croissant in Paris!” But hold onto your berets, because I’m optimistic! There’s gotta be a place (or a few) in this magical city that caters to us dairy-dodging folks.

I’ve done a little digging, and here’s what I’ve come up with so far:

Table des matières

  • 1. VG Pâtisserie
  • 2. Le Pain de Mon Grand-Père
  • 3. Cloud Cakes
  • 4. Maison Landemaine

This totally vegan bakery is located in the 11th arrondissement. They specialize in all kinds of plant-based pastries that could put any buttery croissant to shame. Their almond croissant is said to be a game-changer!

2. Le Pain de Mon Grand-Père

A gluten-free and vegan option, this place is a hidden gem that might just have what I’m looking for. Even if you’re not vegan, it’s worth checking out for a croissant that’s allergy-friendly!

This is the perfect blend of cozy and trendy, and they offer a few dairy-free delights as well. You might not find a traditional almond croissant, but their other options are definitely worth tasting.

4. Maison Landemaine

While not strictly vegan, some locations offer dairy-free alternatives or can help customize orders. Always worth asking!

Now, I might still be scouting the streets for more recommendations, and this is where you come in! I’d love to hear from fellow lactose-free travelers or locals who have stumbled upon the perfect dairy-free pastry spots. Where do I need to go to find my dream almond croissant?

With my taste buds tingling and my nose ready to sniff out the best pastries, I’m so excited for this Paris adventure! If you have any suggestions or secret spots, drop them in the comments below. Who knows, we might just start a dairy-free croissant revolution in the City of Lights! Bon appétit and happy travels! 🌍🥐
