Didon is a restaurants restaurant in the Array arrondissement of Paris.

Didon is a stylish bistronomic restaurant in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, at 8 Rue du Dragon in the 6th arrondissement. The kitchen builds its menu around live charcoal grilling, layering subtle Lebanese and Mediterranean accents over seasonal French produce. It is a warm, contemporary spot that has quickly become a Left Bank favourite.

What to expect at Didon

Almost everything passes over the barbecue here, with chef Erik Marchesan (alongside consulting chef Michel Portos) turning out creative, shareable plates that please vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. Expect dishes such as prawn tacos, beef tartare, charred almond broccoletti with jalapeño and a kale-garlic emulsion, vegan stuffed cabbage and grilled lamb shoulder confit with mint chimichurri. The room is small, cosy and unmistakably Parisian, run with care by owners Carole and Imad Kanaan.
