Abraxas Beaubourg sits at 9 rue Saint-Merri, 75004 Paris. It is in the 4th arrondissement, in Le Marais, steps from the Centre Pompidou and a short walk from the Musée du Louvre. The group also runs studios elsewhere in and near Paris, in Saint-Honoré, Neuilly and rue Keller, plus two on the island of Réunion.
The studio is run by experienced, highly skilled professionals who take pride in their work. Whether you want a new tattoo or piercing, or want to rework an existing one, Abraxas is set up to handle projects of any scale, from a first piercing to a large custom tattoo.
The shop opened here in 1998 and later expanded to Rue Saint-Honoré and other locations. The entrance doubles as a jewelry display: Abraxas keeps an extensive selection of piercing jewels and can order almost anything, alongside striking display pieces.
Tattoo and piercing work is done in dedicated cabins on the lower level. Hygiene is central to the studio, which has worked with Parisian health professionals on tattoo and piercing protocols.

Histoire
Founder Loïc Gignoud is among the pioneers of modern tattooing and piercing in France. He started in the Marais in 1994 at the TTBM studio, one of the most emblematic of its time, where he trained in piercing and tattooing with established figures of the Paris scene.
In 1998, Loïc opened Abraxas near the Pompidou Center. It found success quickly, largely thanks to the artistic quality of its tattoo artists. Whether traditional or artistic, a good tattoo depends on the artist’s design skill and steady hand, and Loïc trained under several respected masters of drawing.
For Loïc, the act of creating matters most. His eye for design and the knowledge he shares with his team let the studio build close relationships with its clients. The result is careful work in which the tattoo suits the shape and tone of the skin, and the body becomes the canvas.
Hours, Location and How to Book
Abraxas Beaubourg is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 9pm and Sunday from noon to 8pm. The studio is at 9 rue Saint-Merri in the 4th arrondissement, a two-minute walk from the Centre Pompidou and close to the Hôtel de Ville.
The nearest metro stops are Hôtel de Ville (line 1) and Rambuteau (line 11); Châtelet–Les Halles (RER A and B, and several metro lines) is also within walking distance. To reach the studio, call 01 48 04 33 55 or book online at abraxas.fr.
Piercings can be done with or without an appointment, depending on how busy the studio is, though booking online is recommended to cut down the wait. For a tattoo, Abraxas usually starts with a consultation to discuss the design, placement and a quote before scheduling the session.
Tattoo and Piercing Prices
Abraxas uses transparent, all-inclusive pricing with no hidden fees, and rates are identical across all of its studios. A piercing price includes the consultation, the piercing itself, the first-fit jewelry in implant-grade titanium, and an aftercare sheet with healing advice. A septum piercing, for example, is €65, while cartilage piercings such as a helix cost more than a simple lobe because they take more precision and longer to heal.
Tattoo pricing is quoted after the consultation, since it depends on size, detail and placement. Piercings are paid in a single installment, and there are no student rates. For the first piercing, Abraxas fits its own biocompatible jewelry; once healed, you can bring your own for fitting.
Prestations de service

The studio covers the full range, from simple piercings to complex custom tattoo designs, along with body jewelry and aftercare products so you can look after new work properly. The Beaubourg studio has two piercing cabins and four tattoo stations across its two levels.
- Tatouage — custom and traditional designs, from small pieces to large-scale work, quoted after a consultation.
- Perçant — ear, face, body and more, with implant-grade titanium jewelry and all-inclusive pricing.
