Braisenville is a Restaurant gastronomique restaurant in the Array arrondissement of Paris.

Braisenville is a lively small-plates restaurant in the 9th arrondissement, at 36 Rue Condorcet, between the Grands Boulevards and South Pigalle. Its hook is fire: nearly everything is cooked over wood, on the plancha, the grill or in a braising oven — Braisenville claims to be the first casual gourmet restaurant in France to use one. The result is smoky, seasonal cooking served in a fun, vintage-styled room.

What to expect at Braisenville

The format is build-your-own grazing: you pick from a list of “raciones” — small plates a little larger than tapas, typically priced between €6 and €14 — with around four (three savoury, one sweet) recommended per person. Produce is seasonal and local, the wines are thoughtfully chosen, and there is a set tasting menu for those who prefer to hand things over to the kitchen. The mood is relaxed and convivial, made for sharing.
