Parcelles is a charming “bistrot à vins” in the 3rd arrondissement, at 13 Rue Chapon in the upper Marais. Created by Sarah Michielsen and Bastien Fidelin opposite their own wine cellar, it pairs modern bistro cooking with one of the most exciting wine lists in the city — over 1,000 references focused on independent and natural producers.

What to expect at Parcelles

Chef Julien Chevallier cooks a seasonal, daily-changing menu of refined bistro classics — think veal sweetbreads with hazelnut butter, mash and capers — designed to show off the wines. The award-winning cellar is the heart of the place, championing small winemakers. The room is handsome and warm, with linen tablecloths, a copper-topped bar and windows that fold open in summer. It is a wine lover’s bistro that takes its food just as seriously.
