Description

Nestled in the heart of Paris’s 8th arrondissement, the Musée Nissim de Camondo is a treasure trove of rare and valuable works of art. This historic house-turned-museum boasts an impressive collection of over 700 paintings, 1500 sculptures, 1000 drawings and prints, 5000 books and manuscripts, 200000 photographs, and 50000 other items.

One of the museum’s most impressive draws is its collection of over 600 works by the French artist Henri Matisse, including the famous painting “The Green Leaf” which is currently on display. Visitors can also admire the museum’s collection of paintings by Vincent van Gogh, including his iconic masterpiece “The Starry Night.”
