Arpège is a Restaurant gastronomique restaurant in the Array arrondissement of Paris.
Arpège is the three-Michelin-star flagship of chef Alain Passard, at 84 Rue de Varenne in the 7th arrondissement near the Rodin Museum. One of the most influential restaurants in France, it is famous for putting vegetables at the centre of haute cuisine — Passard’s kitchen draws much of its produce from the restaurant’s own gardens outside Paris.
What to expect at Arpège
Passard’s cooking is seasonal, precise and quietly revolutionary, built around the vegetables, herbs and fruit grown on his estates and prepared with extraordinary technique. Expect a refined, ever-changing experience rather than a fixed greatest-hits menu, with dishes that have shaped a generation of chefs. The dining room is intimate and the experience is priced at the very top end — this is a destination for a once-in-a-lifetime meal. Lunch is the most accessible way in.
