JACQUES is a restaurants restaurant in the Array arrondissement of Paris.

Jacques is a stylish neo-bistro in the 16th arrondissement, at 129 Avenue Victor Hugo, that shifts gear through the day — brasserie at lunch, bistro at dinner and a cocktail bar into the evening. Founded by Benjamin, the man behind the “Eat the Road” food truck, and named after his grandfather, it brings an easy, contemporary energy to a smart residential corner near Place Victor Hugo.

What to expect at Jacques

Executive chef Stéphane Laruelle — formerly of the Michelin-starred Le Chiberta — leads a kitchen built on simple, well-sourced French bistro cooking with the occasional foreign accent. The menu follows the seasons through short, organic-leaning supply chains, and the format is flexible: weekday lunch formulas, à la carte dinners, weekend brunch, and cocktails with music later on. It is a polished but approachable spot, equally suited to a quick lunch or a longer evening.
