Juveniles is a restaurants restaurant in the Array arrondissement of Paris.
Juveniles is a much-loved wine bar and bistro in the 1st arrondissement, at 47 Rue de Richelieu near the Palais-Royal and the Louvre. Founded in 1987 by Scottish wine expert Tim Johnston and now run by his daughter Margaux with chef Romain Roudeau, it pairs an exciting, ever-changing wine list with honest, market-driven bistro cooking.
What to expect at Juveniles
This is a “cave à manger” at heart — a place to drink well and eat properly. The kitchen serves seasonal bistro plates such as haddock croquettes, caramelised endives, entrecôte for two with excellent mash, and comforting puddings like vanilla rice pudding and salted caramel. The wine selection by the glass changes constantly and reflects decades of expertise. The atmosphere is friendly and familial despite the smart, central location — a genuine local favourite.
