NAKATANI RESTAURANT is a restaurants restaurant in the Array arrondissement of Paris.

Nakatani is a one-Michelin-star restaurant in the 7th arrondissement, at 27 Rue Pierre Leroux, where Japanese chef Shinsuke Nakatani cooks refined, seasonal French cuisine. After a decade working alongside Hélène Darroze, Nakatani opened his own intimate dining room, and it has become one of the most quietly admired fine-dining tables on the Left Bank.

What to expect at Nakatani

Dining here is a single, changing set menu — typically four courses at lunch and six at dinner — that evolves with the seasons every couple of months. Nakatani’s cooking is classic French at heart, executed with precision and a Japanese sensibility for detail and balance. With just 16 seats, the room is hushed and personal, so booking well ahead is essential. It is a restaurant for those who want serious, understated gastronomy rather than spectacle.
