Au Pied de Cochon is a restaurants restaurant in the Array arrondissement of Paris.

Au Pied de Cochon is a legendary Parisian brasserie in the 1st arrondissement, at 6 Rue Coquillière in the old Les Halles district. Open since 1947, it was the first restaurant in Paris to serve around the clock, and it still runs 24 hours a day, every day. Generous, traditional and gloriously old-school, it is as much an institution as it is a place to eat.

What to expect at Au Pied de Cochon

The menu is classic French brasserie fare, anchored by its namesake stuffed pig’s trotter (pied de cochon), seafood platters and hearty shareable cuts. Onion soup at 4am, oysters in the afternoon, a full dinner at midnight — the kitchen never closes, which makes it a Paris rite of passage for night owls and early risers alike. The rooms are bustling and brasserie-bright, with brisk, professional service.
