On the cute Square Monge (Place Monge), not far from the Jardin des Plantes, the Arènes de Lutèce and the Panthéon, you’re going to enjoy this little open-air market and its village atmosphere. Already a lot of tourists know the place! I noticed a cooked food stall from West Indies and an other one from Lebanon.
Open wednesday and friday from 7.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. and sunday between 7.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m.
Don’t forget to carry on the walk down the market street Rue Mouffetard, where you can stop for a nice coffee or a complete french breakfast with a croissant or a pain au chocolat, and tartines beurrées à la confiture (buttered bread with jam) dipped in a hot chocolate!
